Lisdoonvarna has been handed a €100,000 boost for its streetscapes and shopfronts.
The funding announced by Minister for Rural and Community Development Heather Humphreys, is part of a €2.6 million initiative under the Our Rural Future programme.

Retailers and property owners in the North Clare town are to be provided with grants that they can use to improve the facades of their buildings, carry out artwork or install features such as street furniture or canopies.
Those eligible in Lisdoonvarna must now apply directly to Clare County Council for the funding.
