1.65 million euro has been announced in funding for sporting organisations and clubs throughout Co. Clare.
The funding forms part of the government's Sports Capital Program 2015, and sees 25 beneficiaries here in Clare.
200,000 euro is to be spent at Lees Road in Ennis, while Clare Camogie has been given just over 180 thousand euro.
Six-figure sums also go to GAA clubs in O'Callaghans Mills, Scariff and Ennistymon, as well as Cullaun Sailing Club, Bridge United Football Club and other groups in Tulla, Lahinch and Ennis.
Other groups receiving money are in Corofin, Liscannor, Crusheen, Kilamley and Killaloe.
