Four Clare creches are to benefit from a €1.6 million allocation of funding.
Additional childcare spaces will be enabled by the funding which has come through the Building Blocks Extension Grant scheme.

Obair Community Creche in Newmarket-on-Fergus and Cois Céim Creche in Lisdoonvarna have each been given €500,000, allowing them to add 27 and 28 spaces, respectively.
A total of €429,000 has been awarded to Boston Community Childcare which will result in 20 new spaces while Loughgraney Kids Corner in Feakle has been granted €189,000, facilitating 10 extra spaces.
