€1.2 million has been provided for flood relief schemes in Clare since 2018.
New figures released through the Oireachtas show only four of the country’s local authorities have received more funding than Clare in the last four years.

They’re in Cork County, Dublin Fingal, Galway County and Kerry.
It’s understood flood relief schemes in Shannon and Kilkee continue to progress, while construction work on the embankments of a project in Springfield in Clonlara is now complete.
