Representatives from Dublin Coach are being asked to meet with Ennis’s elected representatives amid claims their service in the town is a “ghost bus”.
This week’s meeting of Ennis Municipal District has heard fiery criticism of the service known as the “green bus” which goes between Ennis and Dublin.

Fine Gael Councillor Mary Howard has raised a motion calling for the company to answer for a “growing number of issues” relating to the service including punctuality, capacity and no-shows.
Councillor Howard says people in dire need of the service find it unreliable.
