Suggestions to temporarily move flights to Shannon Airport have been dismissed by Dublin Airport.
It’s after calls were made in the Midwest on the Department of Transport to compel the DAA to transfer flights from the capital to to the Midwest amid staffing shortages in Dublin.

The daa says it’s making good progress hiring new staff with 200 people brought to the next stage after interviews.
A reduction in long queues at the airport has resulted in updated travel advice being issued.
Spokesperson Graeme McQueen says passengers only have to be at the airport up to two and a half hours before short-haul flights.
