Drugs with an estimated value of €90,000 have been seized at Shannon Airport.
4.5kgs of herbal cannabis were discovered in parcels originating from the USA and were destined for addresses in Clare, Limerick and Cork.

The seizures were made as a result of risk profiling and with the assistance of detector dog Harley.
It comes as part of an overall seizure of illicit drugs worth almost €611,000 at Shannon, Dublin Airport and a premises in Athlone
