Drugs worth an estimated 70,000 euro have been seized by Gardaí in Clare.
The Clare Divisional Drug Unit, assisted by the Crime Office at Killaloe Garda Station conducted an operation on the Main Street in Broadford, County Clare on November 7th.
As a result of this operation, three people were arrested and detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act.
One person was released without charge and two males in their early 20’s have been charged with two offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
The first charge is Section 3, Simple Possession and the second charge was for Section 15, Possession of controlled drugs for unlawful Sale or Supply.
Both men appeared before Nenagh District Court on the 9th November.
During this operation, cocaine to the value of €70,000 was also seized by the Clare Divisional Drug Unit.
