Revenue has seized €220,000 worth of illegal drugs at Shannon Airport.
As a result of risk profiling over the last two weeks, officers discovered illicit drugs in parcels originating from the USA, Canada and Europe destined for addresses in Limerick, Galway and Cork.

Among the contents of the parcels was 7kg of herbal cannabis, cannabis infused jellies and psychoactive substances.
