A quantity of drugs, fireworks and cash have been seized as part of an operation carried out by Gardaí in West Clare.
Gardaí from the Kilrush Crime Unit and Kilrush Community Engagement, assisted by the Ennis Crime Unit, Roads Policing, Regional Dog Unit, the Armed Support Unit and other divisional units carried out searches at 11 premises in Kilrush yesterday.

During the course of the operation, drugs including suspected cocaine, cannabis herb and crack cocaine with an estimated value of €7,000 were seized.
A number of other items, including fireworks and around €4,450 worth of cash were also seized.
The drugs seized will be forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis and Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
