There’s been a further drop in the number of people staying local in Clare.
57 percent of people here stayed within 10 kilometres of their home in the week up to the 19th of March, down by nearly a percent on the week before.

Clare’s drop of 0.9 percent was above the national average in the same seven day period.
Only four counties – Dublin, Kildare, Carlow and Offaly – recorded an increase in the number of people staying local over the same timeframe.
