Drop In Support For Fine Gael In New Poll

With just nine days to go until polling day and a new poll shows a drop in support for Fine Gael and Sinn Fein.

The RED C poll for the Irish Sun was conducted between Thursday of last week and Tuesday evening among 1,000 voters.

It shows Fine Gael is down again, by a further two points to 26 per-cent or 5 points lower than when the campaign began. 

Labour is up 1 to 9 per-cent, which is a point lower than they were two weeks ago. 

Fianna Fail is up one to 19 per-cent while, Sinn Féin's three point rise at the weekend drops to 17 per-cent. 

Independents –  including the Independents Alliance – are on 18 per-cent – that's a two point rise. 

The others sees the Greens on 4 per cent, Social Democrats on 3, and Renua and the Triple-A/People Before Profit  each on 2.
