Drop in numbers signing on in the mid West

The Central Statistics Office says the Midwest witnessed a drop of just over 300 in the number of people receiving unemployment benifit last month.

There are now just under 30,000 people signing on the live register in Clare Limerick and North Tipperary. 

That's a drop of almost 4 thousand for the region in the last year.
