The army bomb disposal team is reporting one of its lowest level of callouts in Clare this year.

Up until the middle of December, bomb disposal experts were brought to 136 scenes, and dealt with a total of 39 viable devices.
None of those were in Clare, while figures released to the Dáil by Minister Simon Coveney show only one call-out in the county.
No details are given on the incident, but in July the army bomb disposal team carried out a controlled explosion on a lab chemical at a school in Ennis.
