Clare was one of three counties in Ireland which recorded a drop in car sales last month.

Figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show 83 new cars were purchased in the county, down from 90 in the same month last year.
The marginal fall comes in spite of a strong year for the local motor industry.
Just under 2,600 new cars have been bought here in the first nine months of the year, up by over 30% in the same timeframe in 2014.
