Waiting times for a driver test in Clare remain above the national average.
Figures published by the Road Safety Authority today, show the average waiting time for a test has fallen from 27 weeks to just 10 weeks in recent months, following moves to extend testing hours and bolster staffing numbers.

However, the wait time for a test today in Ennis is 11.5 weeks, while it’s 10.5 weeks at the Shannon test centre and 12.5 weeks in Kilrush.
