The Chair of the Safer Clare committee is urging motorists to slow down on a section of the main artery connecting Ennis and Kilrush.
It follows another multi-vehicle collision at Darragh on the N68 last week, where motorists were fortunate to escape injury.

The stretch is currently the subject of a speed limit review, which could see it reduced to 80km/h.
Clare Local Safety Community Partnership Member June Dillon says motorists should treat it as a reduced zone.
