An already disqualified driver who gave Gardaí false details has been arrested in East Clare for a string of road traffic offences.
During a checkpoint in O’Briensbridge today, Gardaí stopped a 2006 Fiat Panda which had no valid documents on display.

It emerged the vehicle had no tax, NCT or insurance and when approached, the motorist provided Gardaí with a false name.
The car was ultimately seized, and the driver was arrested and charged to appear before the district court.
