Last month's Council vote not to reduce the Local Property Tax this year means 220,000 euro for each of the four Clare districts, while the local authority will also provide an additional 56,700.
A full council meeting will take place next month to debate how the county's budget is divided among various services and infrastructure.
Cathaoirleach of the West Clare Municipal District, Lahinch Councillor Bill Slattery says all the councillors will be fighting hard for their own areas.
