Gardaí say they are not seeking anyone else in connection with a fatal hit and run in Ennis following the arrest and subsequent release of a woman over the weekend.

An Ennis woman in her 30’s was detained in the town on Saturday and questioned under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act in relation to the death of Thomas Nowakowski in Toberteascain on Wednesday night.
The 38 year old father of one was only a short distance from home when he was struck.
She was subsequently released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
