Doubts Expressed Over Timescale For Re-Opening Ennis-Shannon Line

Iarnroid Eireann say they are constantly looking at ways to address flooding on the Ennis to Limerick rail line. 

Rail users in Clare face disruption for a further two months with the line now unexpected to re-open until at least early April.

A section of track remains underwater at Ballycar, Newmarket-on-Fergus following the heavy rain of recent months, with shuttle buses continuing the operate along the route.
