A West Clare community is set to take the first steps to bolster its emergency response services.
It comes as the National Ambulance Service has accepted Doonbeg’s request to establish a community first responder unit.

Community First Responders assist Paramedics to provide immediate, life-saving assistance and an information evening will take place at Doonbeg Community Hall next Wednesday at 8pm.
Doonbeg Community Responder representative Caroline O’Brien says it’s an extremely important role.
