Doolin National School has applied for planning permission for an on-site multi-use games area.
Also known as an M-U-G-A, a multi-use games area is an outdoor area with built-in goal post units for various types of sports such as football, basketball or tennis.

The Board of Management of the North Clare school lodged the application on March 25th for the development which includes associated site fencing, netting, artificial surface and four 10-metre floodlighting poles.
Any submissions in relation to the application must be received by Clare County Council by April 28th and a decision will be reached by the local authority on or before May 19th.
