Clare TD Timmy Dooley is one of only five Fianna Fail TDs who voted in favour of a bill calling for abortion to be legalised in cases of fatal foetal abnormalities.

Mick Wallace's bill was defeated by 45 votes to 95, however, Shane Ross and junior ministers Finian McGrath and John Halligan all supported it, contrary to government advice.
All three of Clare's other deputies voted against.
