Dooley Says National Broadband Plan Is In “Total Disarray”

Clare’s Fianna Fail TD says the Governments National Broadband Plan is now in total disarray.

It follows a report that the cost of rolling out fibre broadband to rural Ireland is set to be hit by a 60% rise, putting the target date for delivery in serious jeopardy.

The program was initially due to be fully rolled out by 2021, but it’s now understood there will be at least a two year delay.
