Clare's Fianna Fáil TD has expressed disappointment after it emerged that pay-by-weight bin charges may be deffered.
Reports today suggest cabinet will be told the proposed scheme is inflexible, and more options need to be looked at.
A system of dual billing was due to be rolled out from January, with people being given the opportunity to opt in before July.
Deputy Timmy Dooley says the system has already been rolled out in a number of areas including Clare, and he thinks the Government should now be making an increased effort to implement it fully.
