Clare's Fianna Fáil TD says they had no option but to expel their only MEP from the parliamentary party.

The unanimous decision was taken by Fianna Fáil TDs and Senators at a meeting in Leinster House yesterday, after Brian Crowley decided to leave their affiliated European Grouping.
Deputy Dooley says he is disappointed by the move, adding that he expects the Ireland South MEP to clarify his decision when he is in a position to do so – Mr Crowley is in hospital at present.
