Clare's Fianna Fail TD says a possible reconfiguration of services at St. Joseph's Hospital in Ennis shows the need for greater investment in the sector.

The HSE says there are ongoing staff shortages there, and these issues have become more acute after five workers were forced to take leave due to sickness.
As a result, management are considering a temporary move of fifteen patients away from the hospital's rehabilitation unit to another part of the facility.
Deputy Timmy Dooley feels it's clear more resources are required.
