It’s reported an 8 euro cut in the dole is another of the proposals being considered by government ahead of next month’s budget.
There’s already been an angry reaction to reports that the cabinet is looking at cutting child benefit by 10 euro, while the Minister for Finance has confirmed that he’s proposing a 2 per cent hike in VAT.
