Operators of so-called ‘dodgy boxes’ in Clare have been shut down.
Legal notices were served to thirteen operators across this county, as well as Limerick, Dublin, Cork, Donegal, Offaly, Louth, Westmeath and Laois.

The Federation Against Copyright Theft says it resulted in the illegal streaming services being terminated.
The body also believes many aren’t aware the networks are linked to organised crime.
