The rate of marriage break-up in Clare appears to be on the increase.
The CSO says there were 71 divorces granted in the courts in Ennis last year, a figure which has increased by six when compared with 2015.
However, there’s been an increase of 42% in the number of divorce applications, with the total number last year reaching 104.
