People travelling to Kilkee this weekend are being advised to heed safety warnings when it comes to diving.

Parents are reminded that there is no safe location for diving into the sea in the west Clare town and that diving from the cliff, rocks and pier at any time is dangerous.
It follows the removal of diving boards after a risk assessment carried out in June deemed equipment purchased for Newfoundout was not fit for purpose.
