Discovery of body in Castletroy being treated as suspicious

Two people are assisting Gardaí in their investigation into the discovery of a body, in Castletroy Limerick earlier today.

The man and the woman are occupants of the house where the remains were found – they have NOT been arrested.

The discovery was made by Gardaí this morning at a house in The Pines at Briarfield during the search for a missing 38-year-old man. 

Gardaí are are appealing for information – Superintendent Derek Smart says they're treating the death as suspicious.
