Disappointment In Doonbeg After Trump Visit Cancelled

Disappointment has been expressed by some locals in Doonbeg at the apparent cancellation of Donald Trump’s visit there.

The US President was due to visit his West Clare Hotel and Golf Resort and Dublin in November, as part of a short trip to Europe for World War I centenary commerations.

The Irish government now says that won’t go ahead because the itinerary is too tight – but the White House say no final decision on the Irish trip has been made.
