Dip In Trolley Numbers At UHL Following Busy Start To Week

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital has dipped again today.

The latest figures from nurses union, the INMO shows there were 50 patients waiting to be admitted to beds at Univeristy Hospital Limerick this morning, 42 of those in the Emergency Department.

The overall figures is a drop of 12 on the previous 24 hours and comes on a day when 499 patients have been waiting on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
