It’s claimed digital maps are causing a massive problem on North Clare’s roads.
The Clare Public Participation Network has raised concerns over incorrect speed limits on platforms such as Google and Apple Maps, as well as directions sending tourists down inappropriate roads en route to the Cliffs of Moher.

In a statement to Clare FM, Google says its teams regularly monitor for speed limit changes, but motorists should adhere to local signage if in doubt.
Clare PPN Member and Kilfenora Resident Andy Lambert says action is urgently needed.
