It may be very difficult for gardaí to track those behind an attempted breach of their IT systems, according to an online security expert.

A zero day malware threat was identified last Thursday on one of the force's facilities.
Gardaí say no data was accessd and that they've dealt with the issue.
They've launched an investigation into the hack but Andrew Harbison, specialist in IT forensics, says if it came from abroad it will be very hard to trace.
