It’s emerged the crew of the Asiana Airlines Boeing 777 jet that crash-landed in San Francisco tried to abort its landing just seconds before it hit the seawall in front of the runway.

Air Accident Investigators says information from the cockpit voice recorder and black boxes indicated the aircraft was significantly below its target approach speed.
A pilot in charge who was was a veteran flyer and only had 43 hours experience flying a Boeing 777 and was in training when the crash happened
Two people died in the crash over the weekend – 182 others were injured, 6 remain in a critical condition.
