Large-scale traditional music are set to be held on the streets of Ennis next month as part of An Fleadh Nua.

The event’s organising committee has liaised with Ennis Town Council regarding the use of the Abbey Street Car Park as a potential venue for the gigs, which will form part of the event’s program of concerts, ceili’s and on-street performances.
It has also been proposed that pedestrianisation be utilized in the town during it’s final weekend.
An Fleadh Nua, which is Ireland’s second largest traditional music festival, has been held in Ennis each year since 1974, with this year’s program running from May 20th to 28th.
