Clare county council has signed off on design contracts for the new Tulla Social Housing Scheme.
The social housing development scheme on the Doonaun Road will have 22 units consisting of 10 – 2 story houses, 8- 2 story apartments, 2 – 1 story buildings.

Three of the 22 units will be specially adapted to accommodate people with disabilities and special needs.
However Fianna Fail Councillor Pat Hayes says he will not fully support the scheme unless the water supply and flooding issues can be addressed:
