Derelict Ennis Furniture Store Set To Be Demolished

A former furniture store in Ennis, which has been lying derelict for years, is set to be demolished.

The former O’Neill’s Furniture Store in Market Place is poised to be re-developed by the owners of Supermacs, Pat and Una McDonagh.

A company of which they are directors, Atlantic Enterprises Limited, has been granted permission to demolish the building and to secure the site with hoarding.

In their application, they indicate that there are plans to further develop the site.

Clare County Council has given the project the green light with three conditions attached.
