Clare’s Fianna Fail TD has denied that the party is ‘sitting on the fence’ on the issue of abortion.

Despite a four-and-a-half hour parliamentary party meeting on the issue last week, the party has yet to declare whether it will support or oppose legislation agreed by government ministers last week.
However, speaking on Clare FM’s Morning Focus, Deputy Timmy Dooley insists his party are not playing politics on this issue.
