The Department of Social Protection has been accused of failing to pay Syrian refugees their full legal entitlements.

The Irish Refugee Council says that despite having full refugee status, the Syrians are only getting small direct provision payments.
The Department of Social Protection says this only happens during a 3 month orientation period.
But Sue Conlan of the Irish Refugee Council believes it's not legal.
