Motorists in Clare are being advised to drive with care this morning, as pockets of dense fog lead to hazardous travelling conditions.
Met Éireann has issued a low level yellow weather alert for this county, as well as 17 others, warning that fog will lead to impaired visability.

The alert, which came into effect shortly after 6 o’clock this morning, remains in place until noon today.
