Deloitte Ireland has announced the acquisition of a Ennis-based tax firm.
Deloitte is the largest global professional services and consulting firm and has over a quarter of its Irish workforce located across its regional offices Limerick, Galway, Cork and Belfast.
It’s acquiring Cahill Taxation Services, which is a well-established practice in the county town, that provides a range of services relating to retirement and succession planning, sell side tax advisory, property transactions and revenue audits.

The move will grow Deloitte’s Mid-West tax practice to 45 people and the local office to over 150 people.
