The Dáil's transport committee has decided NOT to call in the chief executive of the FAI, John Delaney, to discuss the FIFA loans controversy.

The committee has decided the matter does not fall under its remit as no state funds were involved in the affair.
It is reported that Mr Delaney had called members of the committee in advance of today's meeting, telling them he had already given all the information he could about the matter.
He also told members that an appearance at the Oireachtas committee would be an unwelcome distraction for the FAI ahead of the crucial Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland on Saturday.
