The Defence Forces are providing a boat-shuttle service to residents affected by flooding in Clonlara

The emergency task force set up to deal with the current flooding situation is continuing to monitor water levels in rivers in the midlands, south and south-west regions.
The National Emergency Co-ordination group reported a fall in water levels on the river Shannon for the first in 2 weeks.
However, Met Eireann says it is continuing to monitor the situation as wet and rainy conditions are forecast to continue for the next six days.
