Defence Evidence Finishes At Dundon Trial

John Dundon, of Hyde Road in Limerick, denies having anything to do with the death of the popular rugby player in November 2008.

Convicted criminal Liam Casey was named as one of those who attended a meeting where Dundon allegedly ordered a hitman to kill one of Shane’s neighbours.

But he told the Special Criminal Court today that while he often met Dundon, he wasn’t in his house when the alleged meeting took place.

The defence has now finished calling evidence.
