Defence begins case in Dundon Murder trial

Defence witnesses will be called by lawyers for John Dundon today at his trial at the Special Criminal Court for the murder of Shane Geoghegan.

The 31 year old of Hyde Road, Limerick denies any involvement in the death of the Garryowen rugby player who was shot dead near his home at the Clonmore Estate, Kilteragh on November 9th 2008.
