A Clare pharmacist insists it’s unfair that they’re not included in the HSE’s plans for the upcoming booster campaign.

The booster jab has prveiously only been available to those over 85, those over 65 in nursing homes and the immunocompromised however NIAC has this week given the green light for it to be given to all over 60s.

It looks likely that most will receive their booster from their GP surgery, a move that has been criticised by a number of prominent GPs.

Pharmacist at Rochford’s in Ennis, Dr Audrey Kinahan says they’re in a position to help out and are more than willing to do so.
